Bad ass "provisional" poster for 'Star Wars: Episode VII'
While we're still not totally certain where Michael Arndt's script for Star Wars: Episode VII will go, fans are already beginning to speculate. It's expected to be set some time after Return of the Jedi and include older versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. It also may include a female lead, while other rumors are suggesting Darth Vader may be brought back from the dead, somehow. It's this last possibility that drives the new one-sheet which Cine1 call a "provisional poster". I think that's just a more technical way of saying "fan made".
The poster features a shrouded Jedi, notably wielding a blue lightsaber, using his force powers to summon the iconic Darth Vader helmet. Obi-Wan Kenobi used a blue lightsaber throughout, but also so did Anakin Skywalker before he turned to the path of the Dark Side and switched to the more ominous red saber. Luke also used a blue saber before he lost it and his hand to Vader.
Pretty cool image, and that tagline is something J.J. Abrams may want to adopt.
