Meet Disney's 'Big Hero 6' in New Character Posters

Disney's first animated feature based on a Marvel Comic is Big Hero 6, an odd choice considering the wealth of more recognizable heroes for them to choose from. The reason for it becomes apparent when one gets a look at the team and the trailer released some weeks ago, in that the film is ready-made to appeal to kids and with Marvel's brand attached it could be a huge hit this fall.

New characters posters give us a look at Big Hero 6 characters Wasabi No-Ginger, Hiro Hamada, Fred Zilla, Honey Lemon, Gogo Tomago, and Baymax. The story largely follows Hiro, a boy genius living in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo who joins the team with his robot sidekick, Baymax. There have been some significant changes to the designs of each character but probably Wasabi No-Ginger and Fredzilla have been altered the most.

Directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams with the voices of Maya Rudolph, TJ Miller, and Jamie Chung, Big Hero 6 opens November 7th. [JPosters]
