The Killing's Not Done in First Trailer for 'Fury' Starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf

A few years ago Brad Pitt got his first taste of WWII in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, a film that took a slightly askew look at the fight against Hitler. And it must have been an experience that Pitt took a liking to and drove his decision to star in Fury, from writer/director David Fury coming off his hit cop drama End of Watch. And while this film appears to have a lot more action than 'Basterds' ever came close to, the newly-released trailer also shows it to be more of a character study and deserving of late fall release date.

"The dying's not done, the killing's not done." Pitt stars as Wardaddy, the commander of a five-man tank crew who have been fighting Nazis all around the world. But now as the war begins to wind down they are sent on one last mission behind enemy lines where they are outgunned and outmanned, and must rely on one another to get back home. Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal, and Logan Lerman make up the rest of Pitt's team on this one, and this looks to be more of a story about camaraderie on the battlefield than just steamrolling Germans in an armored vehicle. Also released was the film's new poster which comes with the apt tagline "War Never Ends Quietly".

Sony has big expectations for Fury which is why they've given it a very Oscar-friendly release date of November 14th.
