Fans of Disney's
Frozen are so eager for a sequel that even the barest hint of an update on one is enough to send them into a tizzy. Case in point: over the weekend Idina Menzel was asked about further
Frozen projects,
claiming that a sequel was "in the works". It seemed a bit sketchy at the time, and today Menzel appeared on
Today [via THR] and walked back her statements. Sorry, folks.
When asked about what she had said previously, Menzel replied "You know, I have no idea — I just assumed that because it's so successful that's what they're up to!" Well, she's probably not wrong on that score but until something is confirmed it's all just guesswork.
Next year sees the arrival of
Frozen Fever, a short film centered on a birthday party Elsa throws for her sister, Anna.
