The folks at Blumhouse were so excited about Sinister 2 that they dropped a teaser at WonderCon last weekend. The sequel to 2012's small-budget hit has a new director in Ciaran Foy, a new cast led by Shannyn Sossamon (The Rules of Attraction), but the demon Bughuul is still around to haunt your dreams.
A new full-length trailer is here, and it wastes no time getting right to the scares. Sossamon plays mother with twin sons, which would be nightmare enough if they weren't marked for death by Bughuul. "You don't stop evil, you can only protect yourself from it". Something tells me the priest who says this is going to end up impaled on a cross or something.
Sinister 2 opens August 21st.
