While most people would hate to see a remake of William Friedkins's The French Connection, and certainly have no love for its fictional sequel, how about a film that explores the same story from a different angle? That's what we get in Cedric Jimenez's The Connection, which stars Oscar-winner Jean Dujardin.
Dujardin plays magistrate Pierre Marcel, who is charged with taking out The French Connection, the most notorious drug cartel in history. The trailer highlights the action and '70s style vibe, which Dujardin surprisingly seems to fit well. Also starring Gilles Lellouche, The Connection opens on May 15th.
