Michael Keaton could Star in Comic Book Adaptation 'Imagine Agents'
He's already been Batman, earned an Oscar nomination for the satirical Birdman, and now Michael Keaton may be taking on a very different comic book property, one without superheroes. A story at the Tracking Board says Keaton is set to produce and star in an adaptation of Brian Joines' comic, Imagine Agents.
Joines and artist Bachan released Imagine Agents for Boom! Studios in 2013, and the comic has a pretty unique premise. You know those imaginary friends little kids like to create? Well they have a tendency to get out of control, and that's when the agents of IMAGINE step in to rein them back in. The story follows two specific agents working for the top secret agency as they try to stop an evil figment's scheme. Presumably Keaton would play one of the agents.
Michael Keaton in a Men in Black-style fantasy action flick? Sure, sounds good.
