Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead Join 'Swiss Army Man'
As the one we'll forever remember as the magical Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe should be used to his films having a certain strangeness to them. But for all the magic spells and weird creatures, nothing he's done, with the exception of maybe Horns, is quite as odd as Radcliffe's next film, titled Swiss Army Man.
Radcliffe along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Paul Dano, have joined the surreal indie directed by Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert who simply go by "The Daniels" apparently. The story, which sounds like an updated Weekend at Bernie's, follows a hopeless man lost in the woods who befriends a dead body, and they embark on some kind of journey home. Maybe Jonathan Silverman can make a cameo?
The Daniels recently won Best Director at the MTV Music Awards for the "Turn Down for What" music video, which was pretty unique as far as music videos go. We'll see if they can bring some of that creativity when Swiss Army Man begins filming next month. [Deadline]
