Quentin Tarantino Asked About 'Kill Bill 3' Yet Again, Still Won't Commit
What's that? Quentin Tarantino's got a new movie out? Great. Oh, that means someone is going to ask him that same damn question about Kill Bill 3 that he gets every time he's on press tour. Variety is the latest, and here is Tarantino's response about seeing Uma Thurman as The Bride once more...
"I’m not committing to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Bride made one more appearance before the whole thing is said and done…I am talking to Uma [Thurman] about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I’d written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use."
So....maybe. Maybe not. Now there's a real step forward! This question is getting about as annoying as the constant questions to Disney producers about Indiana Jones. I think it's more likely we see The Bride show up in a different Tarantino movie altogether in some sort of cameo.
If Kill Bill 3 did happen it would probably star the now grown-up daughter of Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) as she seeks revenge on The Bride for killing her mother. Or at leat that is what Tarantino has often talked about as a possibility for the storyline, which admittedly sounds cool. He also left a number of scenes on the cutting room floor, including a character played by Michael Jai White who gets into a fight with Bill (David Carradine).
Personally I'd rather Tarantino give us the combined uncut "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" version on Blu-Ray. Or he can just keep making great new stuff like The Hateful Eight which is in theaters now and you should be seeing.
