Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen in the same movie and there isn't an Avenger in sight? Hopefully people will still turn out to see it. The two are set to star in Wind River, which features a script by Sicario writer Taylor Sheridan.
No director is attached yet, but the film's plot sounds dark enough that maybe Sicario's Denis Villeneuve could be interested? Renner plays a hunter in mourning after the death of his teenaged daughter, who discovers the raped body of a girl in the wilderness. He's enlisted by a rookie FBI agent (Olsen) to navigate the harsh terrain and find those responsible.
Production is slated to begin in March so presumably there will be word on a director soon. Renner and Olsen will be seen together next in Captain America: Civil War.
