Attend A Free Screening Of 'Hands Of Stone' Starring Edgar Ramirez And Robert De Niro

We're happy to offer our DC readers the chance to attend a free advance screening of Hands of Stone, starring Edgar Ramirez, Robert De Niro, and Usher. The film tells the true story of legendary Panamanian boxer Roberto Duran and his pair of fights against Sugar Ray Leonard.

Synopsis: HANDS OF STONE follows the life of Roberto Duran (Edgar Ramirez), the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16 year-old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard (Usher Raymond) to capture the WBC welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch, famously saying the words “no mas” (no more.)

The screening takes place on Tuesday, August 23rd at Regal Gallery Place at 7:30pm. If you'd like to attend, simply register with the Gofobo ticketing site here and download one Admit-Two pass. Please note that having passes does not guarantee entry and you'll need to arrive early to ensure receiving a seat. Enjoy the show!

Hands of Stone opens August 26th.
