Katherine Heigl Is Jealous Of Rosario Dawson In First Trailer For 'Unforgettable'
It seems that Katherine Heigl has decided to her put her rom-com past firmly in the rear view. Her last few movies have taken a decidedly different tract, from the gay drama Jenny's Wedding to the dark comedy Home Sweet Hell. She may not be the big star she used to be, but Heigl's career is more interesting to watch, that's for sure. And she has another intriguing project on the way in Unforgettable, a new thriller co-starring Rosario Dawson.
Directed by industry vet Denise Di Novi in her debut feature with a script by David Leslie Johnson (Orphan) and Christina Hodson (Shut In), the film centers on a jealous ex-wife who decides to make life a nightmare for her former husband's new lady. Geoff Stults, Isabella Rice, Cheryl Ladd, and Whitney Cummings co-star. Here's the synopsis:
Heigl stars as Tessa Connover, who is barely coping with the end of her marriage when her ex-husband, David (Geoff Stults), becomes happily engaged to Julia Banks (Dawson)—not only bringing Julia into the home they once shared but also into the life of their daughter, Lilly (Isabella Rice). Trying to settle into her new role as a wife and a stepmother, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her put her own troubled past behind her. But Tessa’s jealousy soon takes a pathological turn until she will stop at nothing to turn Julia’s dream into her ultimate nightmare.
Unforgettable opens April 21st 2017.
